Five steps
Each step shows the screen you will see. Setup is quicker with a CV to hand, but you do not need one.
Sign up with your email and a password and confirm your address. That is the only form; everything else happens inside the workspace.
Use an address you will keep. Check spam if the confirmation has not arrived within a few minutes.
Upload a CV or type your roles in. An upload drafts the record for you: roles, dates, education and skills. Nothing is saved as fact until you review it.
Check names, dates and titles. Extraction misses things, and the record is only as useful as it is accurate.
Say where you would like to be, with a target role or year if you have one, and pick the address for your public page. It is fine to be exploring.
Ambitions change. You can rewrite this at any time, and the next report will use the new version.
Your first report sets out three routes drawn from your record, each with the evidence behind it, the questions to check and the next steps. It also starts your free seven-day trial of everything in Growth.
Read the reasoning, not just the titles. A route is something to investigate, not a prediction.
Log learning as it happens, work through goal milestones and read the weekly Career Review. Share your public page when you are ready, with the sections you choose.

No. You can type your roles in during setup. If you upload a CV, you review the extracted details before anything is saved.
No. New profiles start private. Under My CV, then Sharing, you can choose link access or public visibility once you have reviewed your information.
No. It is a direction to investigate, based on the information you have given. It is not a hiring decision or a guarantee of a role.
